What are the three troop classes?
Guardian, Shooter, and Carrier are the three main soldier classes used when building combat formations.

Start with class, then judge the ant by its actual skills.
Guardian formations are built around Guardian soldier ants. Shooter formations use Shooter soldier ants. Carrier formations use Carrier soldier ants. A Special Ant's soldier class tells you which troop type it leads; it does not by itself tell you whether that ant is an attacker, healer, support ant, or some combination.
