Status: Strategy foundation

What changed: Added a dedicated Investment Priorities page for comparing ant, star, awakening, insect, troop, evolution, and replacement choices by the bottleneck they actually solve.

Who it affects: Players deciding where their next scarce resources should go.

Evidence note: The page is a decision framework, not a universal upgrade ranking.

REV223 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Strategy foundation published

Status: Strategy foundation

What changed: Added the Version 1 Strategy section with PFF, Hybrid, and PTP paths plus a resource-efficiency decision framework.

Who it affects: Players choosing what to upgrade next and how aggressively to replace developed ants.

Evidence note: Strategy guidance remains account-contextual and does not create universal purchase or upgrade rankings.

REV222 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse Glossary published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated glossary with concise definitions for lineup, development, evidence, and progression terms used throughout TAUKS, plus links to the deeper Schoolhouse lessons.

Who it affects: New and returning players who need quick definitions without leaving the learning path.

Evidence note: Definitions remain descriptive and do not create new ant rankings or unsupported mechanics.

REV221 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse Progression Basics lesson published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated progression lesson covering stable lineup building, efficient resource allocation, evidence-based replacements, and different PFF / Hybrid / PTP progression paths.

Who it affects: Players deciding what to upgrade next and whether a newer ant is actually worth replacing a developed one.

Evidence note: The lesson provides a decision framework rather than a universal spend order.

REV220 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse Skills & Roles lesson published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated Skills & Roles lesson explaining the difference between verified skill mechanics, combat function, troop class, and three-ant lineup fit.

Who it affects: Players evaluating whether a Special Ant is an attacker, healer, support, control, defensive, or other role within a formation.

Evidence note: Unknown role classifications remain Needs More Data rather than being inferred from class or season.

REV219 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse Awakening lesson published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated Awakening lesson explaining why awakening is a separate development variable, how TAUKS evaluates its role fit and resource efficiency, and why unverified awakening effects remain marked Needs More Data.

Who it affects: Players deciding whether awakening investment is worthwhile on a specific account.

Evidence note: No individual ant awakening effect was invented or generalized beyond verified evidence.

REV218 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse Star Levels lesson published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated Star Levels lesson explaining how stars affect development, why Basic 6 avoids star assumptions, why Advanced and maturity charts must declare their assumptions, and why player-specific star levels should override generic comparisons.

Who it affects: Players comparing older high-star ants with newer low-star ants, or using maturity and Advanced lineup charts.

Evidence note: The lesson does not introduce a universal star-based ranking.

REV217 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse PvP vs PvE lesson published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated PvP vs PvE lesson that explains what each combat context measures, why repeatable benchmark reports are useful, and why PvE damage should not be treated as automatic proof of PvP superiority.

Who it affects: Players comparing lineups, interpreting battle reports, or deciding whether test results apply to PvP, PvE, or a repeatable event benchmark.

Evidence note: No new ant rankings or specific lineup claims were introduced.

REV216 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Schoolhouse formation-position lesson published

Status: Verified learning framework

What changed: Added a dedicated Front / Middle / Back lesson using the locked Quick Answer → Learn More → Go Deeper structure, and connected the Lineup Center formation-help route directly to it.

Who it affects: Players learning lineup placement or reviewing why an ant belongs in a specific position.

Evidence note: The lesson explains formation principles without assigning unverified positions to specific ants.

REV195 · SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

Special Ant profile standard expanded

Crematogaster Inflata now uses the decision-first individual profile standard introduced with Black Knight. Verified skills remain separated from TAUKS analysis, historical lineup evidence is labeled, and unknown build-cost or current-ranking claims remain visible as Needs More Data.

REV194 · SPECIAL ANT PROFILE STANDARD

Decision-focused individual ant profile

Black Knight is now the implementation proof for the individual Special Ant page standard: TAUKS Decision Box first, then verified/recovered facts, TAUKS analysis, related lineup, related Schoolhouse guidance, evidence status and next action. Unknown comparative fields remain marked Needs More Data rather than guessed.

Status: Implemented in prototype · September 19, 2026

Prototype Rev191 — Architecture Decision Gate

Approved the Rev179–Rev190 visitor architecture as the working baseline for continued implementation. Learning / Experienced / Just Browsing, goal-first navigation, the Special Ant Life Cycle, Quick Reference, and the Evidence Standard remain in force. Rev178 stays protected and destarring/resource-recovery instructions remain blocked until verified.

Open the V1 Site Readiness map

Prototype Rev189 — 30-Second First-Visit Pass

Reduced first-screen decision load for Learning, Experienced, and Just Browsing visitors. Learning now starts with three primary choices before deeper options; Experienced puts Quick Reference first; Just Browsing starts with three broad destinations. The homepage now explicitly tells visitors to choose a path and reach something useful in seconds.

Prototype Rev187 — Evidence Standard

Added a site-wide evidence page defining Verified, Player Tested, Under Review, and Needs More Data. The homepage, Ask Dolly, Life Cycle, and Next Build paths now link to the same confidence standard. Destarring and resource recovery remain Needs More Data until current mechanics are verified.

Prototype Rev179 — Visitor Path System

Started the Rev179 usability redesign without changing the protected Rev178 lineup data. The homepage now begins with Learning, Experienced, and Just Browsing paths; emphasizes useful, account-specific guidance; introduces goal-first navigation; and adds the first Special Ant Life Cycle page covering Level 50 comparison state, star decisions, lineup use, replacement testing, retirement/resource recovery caution, and Dolly's future account-aware guidance. Destarring and resource-recovery instructions remain intentionally unpublished until current mechanics are verified.

Prototype Rev178

Added S + S1–S3 Guardian PvP using the provisional legacy baseline base S 8★, S1 8★, S2 8★ and S3 7★. Black Knight S3 is retained as the historical PvP Front anchor, Meranoplus Castaneus S3 as the historical PvP Middle anchor, and Hairy Panther S2 as the historical developed-account PvP Back anchor. Their combined Black Knight → Meranoplus Castaneus → Hairy Panther formation is clearly marked TEST because it synthesizes positions from separate source lineups. S1, other S2 and base-S placements remain OPEN until direct evidence is available.

Prototype Rev177

Added S + S1–S3 Guardian PvE using the provisional legacy baseline base S 8★, S1 8★, S2 8★ and S3 7★. Leaf Devourer S1 is retained as the historical PvE Front anchor and Hairy Panther S2 as the historical developed-account PvE Back anchor. Black Knight S3 and Meranoplus Castaneus S3 remain PvP-derived retest candidates rather than being transplanted into PvE slots, while the Middle and base-S placements remain OPEN until direct evidence is available.

Prototype Rev176

Added S + S1–S3 Shooter PvP using the provisional legacy baseline base S 8★, S1 8★, S2 8★ and S3 7★. Crematogaster Inflata S3 is retained as the strongest source-backed middle-slot PvP progression anchor. Wise Berserker S1 and Saharan Silver S3 remain legacy retest candidates, while S2 Shooter and base-S placements remain evidence-gated rather than filled by assumption.

Prototype Rev175

Started the S + S1–S3 maturity family with Shooter PvE using the provisional legacy baseline base S 8★, S1 8★, S2 8★ and S3 7★. Historical account evidence preserves Crematogaster Inflata S3 in Front and Wise Berserker S1 in Back, while the original middle ant was outside this band. Saharan Silver S3 is retained as a damage/range RETEST candidate, S2 Shooter candidates remain intake-gated, and base-S positions stay OPEN until source-backed evidence is recovered.

Prototype Rev174

Added S2–S4 Carrier PvP using the provisional maturity baseline S2 8★, S3 7★ and S4 6★. Rainbow Wings S4 and Mimic Crawler S4 are preserved as the strongest position-supported Front/Middle control; Cyphomyrmex Rimosus S3 is retained as a documented Front candidate from an older Carrier formation; S2 Carrier ants remain intake candidates without invented slot assignments. The Back slot stays OPEN until a band-valid ant earns it in direct PvP testing.

Prototype Rev173

Added S2–S4 Carrier PvE using the provisional maturity baseline S2 8★, S3 7★ and S4 6★. Rainbow Wings S4 and Mimic Crawler S4 provide the strongest source-backed position controls; Carpenter Ant S3, Cyphomyrmex Rimosus S3, Graceful Twig Ant S2, Strumigenys Eggersi S2 and Leptomyrmex Burwelli S2 are retained as class-confirmed Carrier candidates without invented PvE slot assignments. The first test frame keeps Rainbow Wings and Mimic Crawler as the two known S4 pieces and leaves Back OPEN until one older-season candidate earns the slot.

Prototype Rev172

Added S2–S4 Guardian PvP using the provisional maturity baseline S2 8★, S3 7★ and S4 6★. Historical evidence supports Black Knight S3 in Front and Hairy Panther S2 in Back from a developed account PvP lineup, while Bison S4 in Front and Meranoplus Castaneus S3 in Middle come from a separate historical Guardian PvP route. The exact Black Knight → Meranoplus Castaneus → Hairy Panther combination is therefore shown only as a band-valid TEST synthesis, not as a proven ranked formation.

Prototype Rev171

Added S2–S4 Guardian PvE using the provisional maturity baseline S2 8★, S3 7★ and S4 6★. White Crystal S4 is retained as the source-backed Front control from the historical Guardian PvE benchmark. Hairy Panther S2 is shown only as a Guardian candidate because its PvE placement and S2 skill intake remain unresolved; Black Knight S3 and Meranoplus Castaneus S3 remain retest-only because their documented historical placements are PvP, not PvE.

Prototype Rev170

Added S2–S4 Shooter PvP using the provisional maturity baseline S2 8★, S3 7★ and S4 6★. Crematogaster Inflata S3 and Sly Hunter S4 are retained as source-backed middle-slot progression pieces from their known PvP routes, while Saharan Silver S3 remains a historical/retest candidate. Because the complete known formations use S5 partners and the S2 intake is still incomplete, unresolved S2–S4-only positions remain OPEN rather than guessed.

Prototype Rev169

Started the S2–S4 maturity family with Shooter PvE. The provisional comparison baseline is S2 8★, S3 7★ and S4 6★. Because the S2 intake is still incomplete, the chart does not invent an S2 Shooter. It preserves Crematogaster Inflata S3 and Sly Hunter S4 as source-backed middle-slot bridge pieces, keeps Saharan Silver S3 in the historical/retest candidate pool, and leaves unresolved positions OPEN until class, skill and placement evidence is available.

Prototype Rev168

Added S4–S6 Carrier PvP using the current-season working baseline S4 6★, S5 3★ and S6 0★. Golden Chaser S5 → Mimic Crawler S4 → Rainbow Scarlet S5 remains the complete mature historical S+ PvP control. Amber Belly S6 is shown as an ungraded 0★ integration TEST with exact replacement slot and partners left open rather than guessed, and the chart adds a no-auto-upgrade gate for one-ant-at-a-time PvP comparison.

Prototype Rev167

Added S4–S6 Carrier PvE using the current-season working baseline S4 6★, S5 3★ and S6 0★. The verified owned PvE control remains Mimic Crawler S4 → Golden Crystal S1 → Rainbow Scarlet S5, clearly marked as outside-band because Golden Crystal is S1. The in-band partial core keeps Mimic Crawler and Rainbow Scarlet with Middle OPEN, while Amber Belly S6 is shown as an ungraded 0★ integration TEST with exact placement and partners left unresolved rather than guessed.

Prototype Rev166

Added S4–S6 Guardian PvP using the current-season working baseline S4 6★, S5 3★ and S6 0★. Bison S4 → Blue Velvet S5 → Giant Jaw S5 remains the mature historical S+ PvP control. Umber Knight S6 is shown as an ungraded 0★ Front/Middle integration TEST with the exact replacement slot and partners left open rather than guessed. The chart adds a no-auto-upgrade gate so a mature S4/S5 Guardian line remains the control until an S6 substitution wins repeatable PvP testing.

Prototype Rev165

Added S4–S6 Guardian PvE using the current-season working baseline S4 6★, S5 3★ and S6 0★. White Crystal S4 → Blue Velvet S5 → Giant Jaw S5 remains the mature historical S+ PvE control. Umber Knight S6 is shown as an ungraded 0★ integration TEST with exact replacement slot and partners left open rather than guessed. The chart adds a no-auto-upgrade gate: keep the developed control until a one-ant-at-a-time S6 substitution produces a repeatable PvE damage gain.

Prototype Rev164

Added S4–S6 Shooter PvP using the current-season working baseline S4 6★, S5 3★ and S6 0★. The chart preserves four source-backed routes: Indigo Velvet S5 → Spotted Hunter S6 → Sickle Jaw S6 as the current S+ overall control; Indigo Velvet S5 → Spotted Hunter S6 → Rainbow Chaser S5 as the current S+ PvP specialist; Indigo Velvet S5 → Tiger Velvet S6 → Sickle Jaw S6 as the S+ PvP TEST route; and Indigo Velvet S5 → Sly Hunter S4 → Azure Crazy S5 as the A-grade mature bridge.

Prototype Rev163

Started the S4–S6 current-season maturity set with Shooter PvE. The working comparison baseline is S4 6★, S5 3★ and S6 0★, while the page also preserves Bruce’s wider maturity envelope of S4 3–8★, S5 1–5★ and newly acquired S6 normally 0★. Four evidence-backed routes are shown: the current S+ PvE specialist Spotted Hunter S6 → Rainbow Chaser S5 → Sickle Jaw S6; the S+ best-overall Indigo Velvet S5 → Spotted Hunter S6 → Sickle Jaw S6; the S+ all-S5 control Indigo Velvet S5 → Rainbow Chaser S5 → Azure Crazy S5; and the A-rated S4 bridge Indigo Velvet S5 → Sly Hunter S4 → Azure Crazy S5.

Prototype Rev162

Added S3–S5 Carrier PvP. The working baseline remains S3 7★, S4 6★, S5 3★. Two complete band-valid historical S+ routes are now published: Golden Chaser S5 → Mimic Crawler S4 → Honey Ant S5, and the S+ F2P control Golden Chaser S5 → Mimic Crawler S4 → Rainbow Scarlet S5. No S3 Carrier is inserted without source-backed PvP placement evidence.

PROTOTYPE REV160

S3–S5 Guardian PvP maturity set added

Added the Guardian PvP maturity-band comparison using the 7★ / 6★ / 3★ working baseline: Black Knight S3 → Bright Ponerine S5 → Giant Jaw S5 (historical S+), Bison S4 → Blue Velvet S5 → Giant Jaw S5 (historical S+ F2P control), and Bison S4 → Meranoplus Castaneus S3 → Giant Jaw S5 (historical S alternative).

Prototype Rev161

Added S3–S5 Carrier PvE. The working baseline remains S3 7★, S4 6★, S5 3★. Because the verified historical Carrier PvE routes use either Golden Crystal S1 or Crimson Pearl Universal in the middle slot, the maturity chart keeps Mimic Crawler S4 in Front and Rainbow Scarlet S5 in Back as the source-supported partial core and leaves Middle OPEN rather than inventing an S3–S5 replacement.

Prototype Rev160

Added S3–S5 Guardian PvP. The working baseline remains S3 7★, S4 6★, S5 3★. The chart preserves Black Knight S3 → Bright Ponerine S5 → Giant Jaw S5 as a historical S+ PvP route, Bison S4 → Blue Velvet S5 → Giant Jaw S5 as the historical S+ F2P control, and Bison S4 → Meranoplus Castaneus S3 → Giant Jaw S5 as the historical S alternative.

Prototype Rev158

Added the second S3–S5 maturity lineup set: Shooter PvP. Working baseline remains S3 7★, S4 6★, S5 3★. The chart preserves the historical S+ Indigo Velvet → Sly Hunter → Rainbow Chaser route, the historical S+ F2P Black Velvet → Sly Hunter → Rainbow Chaser route, the current A bridge, and the S3 progression test without treating season number as automatic superiority.

Prototype Rev157

Published the first maturity lineup set: S3–S5 Shooter PvE. The working comparison baseline is S3 7★, S4 6★, S5 3★, with explicit per-ant stars. The chart preserves the current no-S6 S+ reference, the S4 bridge, the developed S3 bridge, and a historical S3-heavy test route without treating the star assumptions as mathematical equivalence.

Prototype Rev125

Chart-image loading is now generation-guarded. Rapid Previous/Next, quick-jump, or Basic/Advanced switching cannot let a delayed load callback from an older request resize or reposition the currently selected chart.

Prototype Rev124

Suspend/resume restoration is now generation-guarded. If the visitor zooms, pans, changes charts, switches Basic/Advanced, hides controls, or takes another direct viewer action immediately after returning, any queued resume frames are invalidated so the fresh action cannot be overwritten by stale restoration work.

Prototype Rev123

Suspend/resume now carries one authoritative viewer snapshot containing the pre-interruption zoom and focal point. Returning from another app, tab, or device lock restores only that captured state instead of combining a suspend focal with separate fallback focal stores.

Prototype Rev122

Focus, visibility, page-hide, and page-show events now share one idempotent suspend/resume lifecycle. Clustered browser events cannot repeat gesture cleanup, persistence, or viewport restoration; the viewer resumes only once the page is both visible and focused.

Prototype Rev121

Returning from another app, tab, or device lock now retires stale focus and viewport work before restoring the last stable Lineup Center view. The viewer resumes cleanly without replaying delayed resize, tap, pan, pinch, or focal-restoration state.

Prototype Rev120

Focus and visibility interruptions now clear pending single-tap/double-tap timers plus active or provisional pan/pinch state before the page is backgrounded. App switching, tab changes, page hiding, and device locking can no longer leave stale gesture intent waiting for the visitor to return.

Prototype Rev119

Consolidated the full-screen tap and double-tap timing lifecycle into shared helpers. Pending single-tap timers and double-tap memory now clear through one path, while delayed control hide/show runs through one scheduler without changing the 325 ms tap window or zoom behavior.

Prototype Rev118

Consolidated provisional one-finger touch-pan intent and tap-start cleanup into one per-pointer helper. Pinch promotion, pointer-up, and pointer cancellation now retire temporary pointer intent through the same path while preserving fast pinch recognition and tap behavior.

Prototype Rev116

Simplified the Lineup Center gesture lifecycle by consolidating queued-pan flushing and pan-end cleanup into shared helpers. Pinch promotion, normal pan release, and pointer cancellation now commit or retire pending pan animation state through the same path, removing duplicated cleanup branches while preserving pinch-to-pan settling and edge clamping.

Prototype Rev115

Consolidated the Lineup Center's duplicated deferred viewport and gesture cleanup into one shared reset routine. Direct viewer actions now clear pending resize recentering, gesture-profile refresh, focal snapshots, pinch-settle resume state, timers, and orientation-transition masking together before the requested action runs, reducing state drift and simplifying maintenance.

Prototype Rev114

Cleaned up the Lineup Center interaction engine by removing the older gesture-specific pinch-settle cancellation helper that became redundant after Rev112-113. All viewer controls and direct pan/pinch starts now rely on the same shared user-action priority path, reducing duplicate state logic without changing the intended interaction behavior.

Prototype Rev113

Direct pan and pinch gesture starts now use the same shared user-action priority handoff as the viewer controls. Confirmed one-finger pans, mouse/stylus pans, and two-finger pinches all retire stale rotation/resize restoration and old pinch-settle work before the gesture owns the chart, while the brief fast-pinch detection window remains seamless.

Prototype Rev112

Viewer controls now share one clearly named direct-action handoff before applying user intent. Full Screen, zoom/Fit, lineup navigation, Basic/Advanced switching, quick jumps, Reset View, double-tap zoom, and control hide/show all retire stale rotation/resize restoration and pinch-settle work through the same path.

Prototype Rev111

Direct viewer actions now share one reliable handoff path: toolbar and keyboard zoom/Fit, double-tap zoom, and Basic 6 / Advanced 6 switching all explicitly retire stale rotation/resize restoration and pinch-settle work before applying the requested view.

Prototype Rev110

The first Reset View tap now retires already-pending rotation/resize and pinch-settle work before opening the confirmation window, keeping the confirmation state stable after a just-finished viewport change while preserving cancellation for any genuinely new resize.

Prototype Rev109

Confirming Reset View immediately after rotation or resizing now cancels pending viewport-restoration and pinch-settle work first, so the full Lineup Center reset cannot be altered by stale viewer geometry.

Prototype Rev108

Hiding or showing full-screen controls immediately after rotation or resizing now cancels pending viewport-restoration and pinch-settle work first, so the visitor's chrome choice always takes priority over stale viewer geometry.

Prototype Rev107

Entering or leaving Full Screen immediately after rotation or resizing now cancels pending viewport-restoration and pinch-settle work first, so the visitor's full-screen action always takes priority over stale viewer geometry.

Prototype Rev106

Quick-jump dropdowns and mobile quick-jump buttons now cancel pending rotation/resize and pinch-settle work before navigating, so the selected destination lineup always takes priority over stale viewer geometry.

Prototype Rev105

Previous / Next, keyboard-arrow, and swipe navigation now clear any pending rotation/resize settle state before changing charts, so adjacent lineup navigation always takes priority over stale viewport geometry.

Prototype Rev104

Changing to a different lineup type immediately after rotation or resizing now cancels older pinch-settle and deferred viewport-restoration work first, so the newly selected lineup stays in control instead of being pulled back by stale geometry state.

Prototype Rev103

Switching between Basic 6 and Advanced 6 immediately after rotation or resizing now cancels older pinch-settle and viewport-restoration work first, so the newly selected chart set keeps the user's deliberate view instead of being pulled back by deferred state.

Prototype Rev102

Toolbar and keyboard Zoom In, Zoom Out, and Fit actions now take priority over pending pinch-settle or viewport-restoration work after rotation or resize, preventing older deferred motion from pulling the chart away from the newly requested view.

Prototype Rev101

Double-tap zoom immediately after rotation or resizing now cancels pending pinch-settle and viewport-restoration work before applying the new focal point, so older deferred state cannot pull the chart back afterward.

Prototype Rev100

A fresh pan or pinch started immediately after rotation now cancels any paused or just-resumed pinch-settle animation, so the new gesture takes full control without fighting the previous snap target.

Prototype Rev99

Rotation or resizing during the pinch-release settling animation now pauses the snap at its current zoom, preserves the exact image-space focal point, and resumes toward the same zoom stop only after the new viewport geometry has settled.

Prototype Rev98

Rotation that overlaps a pan or pinch now waits for the gesture to finish and preserves the final image-space focal point, preventing the viewer from snapping back to the pre-gesture position.

Prototype Rev97

Zoomed rotation now preserves the exact image-space focal point more precisely by using the last stable pre-rotation focal snapshot instead of sampling from an intermediate resize frame.

Prototype Rev96

Orientation settling now respects reduced-motion preferences: visitors who request reduced motion receive the final chart geometry directly without the temporary fade/mask, while standard motion keeps the smooth settled handoff.

Prototype Rev95

Portrait-to-landscape and landscape-to-portrait transitions now conceal intermediate chart geometry and reveal the lineup only after its final Fit or focal-position pass, preventing visible rotation jumps.

Prototype Rev94

Landscape iPad Split View and Stage Manager Fit positioning now receives the same post-resize stabilization as portrait, preventing subtle chart drift after small width changes.

REV211 · LINEUP CENTER

Goal-first lineup entry implemented

The Lineup Center now starts with six direct player goals: Shooter, Carrier or Guardian × PvP or PvE. Selecting a goal opens the matching chart while preserving the existing Basic 6, Advanced 6, maturity-chart and S6 test layers.

Evidence rule retained: positions and recommendations remain source-gated; TEST and CHECK material is not promoted simply to complete a lineup.

Rev155 — Shooter PTP PvE damage benchmark clarified

The all-S6 Shooter trio Spotted Hunter S6 → Tiger Velvet S6 → Sickle Jaw S6 remains a TEST formation. Current source evidence rates that route S, while Spotted Hunter S6 → Rainbow Chaser S5 → Sickle Jaw S6 remains S+. The site now states that Rainbow Chaser remains the evidence-backed middle slot for maximum PvE output until repeated like-for-like PTP damage testing proves a gain from Tiger Velvet.

Rev151 — Guardian S6 PvE Front evidence tightened

Guardian PTP PvE keeps Front OPEN. Umber Knight is now documented as the alternate Front TEST candidate because internal role evidence supports Front / Middle use, while fresher PvE placement evidence still favors Middle. The same ant is never duplicated across two slots in one proposed formation.

Rev125 — Stale chart-image loads are ignored

Each chart render now owns a load generation. Any delayed image-load callback that no longer belongs to the selected lineup/set is ignored before sizing or focal restoration runs, preventing rapid navigation from applying an older chart’s view state to the current chart.

Rev124 — Fresh actions override resume restoration

Queued suspend/resume restoration now carries a generation guard. Any new direct viewer action or a fresh interruption invalidates older resume frames before they can apply zoom or focal position, so the first action after returning to the app always wins.

Rev123 — Authoritative suspend/resume snapshot

App switching, tab changes, page hiding, and device locking now carry one authoritative pre-interruption viewer snapshot containing both zoom and focal position. Resume restores only that captured state, eliminating the older mix of a suspend-specific focal snapshot plus fallback focal stores.

Rev122 — Unified suspend/resume lifecycle

Window focus, visibility, page-hide, and page-show events now converge on one idempotent lifecycle. A clustered interruption suspends only once, and restoration waits until the page is both visible and focused, preventing duplicate gesture cleanup, persistence, or viewport restoration.

Rev121 — Clean resume after focus/visibility interruption

When the page becomes active again after app switching, tab changes, page hiding, or device locking, the Lineup Center now clears stale deferred viewport work, refreshes gesture timing, and restores the last stable chart focal state only after the live viewport is ready. This prevents delayed focus or resize work from shifting the chart on return.

Rev120 — Focus and visibility interruption cleanup

Window blur, page hide, tab/app switching, and device locking now clear pending tap timers plus active or provisional pan/pinch intent before the viewer is backgrounded. Returning to the page starts from a clean interaction state without stale delayed actions.

Rev119 — Tap timing lifecycle simplified

Pending single-tap timers and double-tap memory now share one cleanup helper, while delayed full-screen control hide/show uses one scheduler. The existing tap timing, double-tap focal zoom, and accessibility behavior are preserved.

Rev118 — Pointer intent cleanup simplified

Provisional touch-pan state and tap-start tracking now share one per-pointer cleanup helper. Pinch promotion, pointer release, and pointer cancellation all retire temporary pointer intent consistently, making the gesture lifecycle easier to reason about without changing fast-pinch detection or tap behavior.

Rev117 — Pan handoff state simplified

Pinch-to-pan settling now travels with the active pan interaction itself instead of relying on a separate global handoff flag. This removes redundant gesture state and makes pointer cleanup easier to reason about without changing the viewer behavior.

Rev84 — Balanced compact-landscape chart controls

In landscape iPhone and compact iPad Split View, Zoom Out, Fit, zoom percentage, Zoom In, Full screen, Reset View, and the Reset confirmation cue now use a balanced compact grid. Touch targets stay at least 44px high while spacing and widths compress evenly so no single control crowds the chart toolbar.

Rev83 — Landscape Reset confirmation cue

On landscape iPhone screens and compact iPad Split View layouts, the Reset View countdown now stays tucked beside the chart controls with a shorter progress track and no redundant Confirm label. Extra-tight landscape windows compress the cue further so it does not crowd zoom or full-screen controls.

Rev82 — Compact mobile Reset confirmation cue

On smaller iPhone-width screens, the Reset View confirmation cue now uses a thicker, slightly wider countdown track with tighter spacing. On the narrowest screens, the redundant Confirm text collapses while the progress cue remains visible, improving clarity without adding vertical space.

Rev81 — Visible Reset confirmation progress cue

After the first Reset View tap, a small visible Confirm progress bar now counts down through the 2.6-second confirmation window. It disappears immediately when the reset is confirmed, cancelled, or expires, while the existing screen-reader status messages remain unchanged.

Rev80 — Explicit Reset confirmation expiration feedback

If the second Reset View tap is not made before the confirmation timer expires, the live status now explicitly says that no Lineup Center preferences were changed and that the saved lineup, Basic/Advanced selection, zoom, focal position, full-screen state, and hidden-controls preference were preserved.

Rev78 — Full-scope Reset View live confirmation

The Reset View live status now announces the same complete scope as the control itself: saved lineup, Basic/Advanced selection, zoom, focal position, full-screen state, and hidden-controls preference. The successful reset message also confirms that those saved preferences were cleared.

Rev75 — Full-context full-screen control

The Full screen button now announces the exact Basic 6 or Advanced 6 lineup it will open. While full-screen is active, the Done button likewise identifies the lineup whose full-screen view will be closed, keeping the accessibility language consistent with the set switcher, dropdowns, quick jumps, and Previous/Next controls.

Rev74 — Full-context Basic/Advanced switcher

The Basic 6 and Advanced 6 buttons now announce the exact lineup context they will switch to. The active button identifies the selected set and current lineup, while the inactive button announces the destination set and lineup before activation.

Rev73 — Full-context Quick jump dropdown

The Lineup Center Quick jump dropdown now identifies the active Basic 6 or Advanced 6 set in its accessible label and every lineup option, matching the full-context behavior of the main chart selector. The destination context updates automatically whenever the lineup set changes.

Rev72 — Full-context chart-selection options

The Lineup Center chart-selection dropdown now includes the active Basic 6 or Advanced 6 set in every option, so assistive technology and visual users get the same complete destination context when choosing a chart. The dropdown label updates automatically when the set changes.

Rev71 — Full-destination quick-jump labels

The Lineup Center quick-jump buttons now expose their complete destination to assistive technology, including the active Basic 6 or Advanced 6 set and the specific lineup name. Labels update automatically whenever the set changes.

Rev70 — Named Previous/Next destinations

Previous and Next controls now announce the exact lineup they will open, including the active Basic 6 or Advanced 6 set, instead of using generic navigation labels.

Rev69 — Screen-reader chart context announcements

Whenever the Lineup Center changes charts or chart sets, assistive technology now hears the current Basic 6 / Advanced 6 set, lineup name, chart position, and zoom state together. The chart viewer region label also carries the current lineup context, so screen-reader users always know exactly which chart they are working with.

Rev68 — Dynamic screen-reader viewer instructions

Screen-reader instructions now adapt to normal view, zoomed view, full-screen, and hidden-control states so only the controls and gestures that apply to the current viewing mode are announced.

Rev67 — Lineup accessibility and keyboard polish

The Lineup Center now exposes Basic/Advanced selection state to assistive technology, announces chart and zoom changes, gives the chart viewer a named region, supports keyboard zoom with + / − / 0, lets Enter or Space hide/show full-screen controls, restores focus after Escape, and enforces 44px touch targets on coarse-pointer mobile/tablet controls.

Rev66 — Reset confirmation cancels when the app loses focus

A pending Reset View confirmation now cancels if the browser tab becomes hidden, the visitor switches apps or tabs, or the device locks before the second tap. Returning requires a fresh two-step confirmation.

Rev65 — Reset confirmation cancels on orientation/window changes

A pending Reset View confirmation now cancels immediately when orientation changes or the viewport is resized by Split View, Stage Manager, browser resizing, or visual-viewport changes. The viewer then continues its existing debounced resize and focal-position preservation behavior.

Rev64 — Reset confirmation cancels on control hide/show

A pending Reset View confirmation now cancels when a single chart tap hides or restores the full-screen controls, so every deliberate chart interaction dismisses the pending reset.

Rev63 — Reset confirmation cancels on chart interaction

A pending Reset View confirmation now cancels immediately when the visitor starts a deliberate zoom, pan, pinch, or double-tap zoom. The button returns to its normal state before the chart changes, preventing an old confirmation from lingering during active chart work.

Rev62 — Reset confirmation cleanup

Reset View confirmation now cancels cleanly when its timer expires, when the visitor navigates to another lineup or lineup set, or when full-screen mode is closed. The control immediately returns to its normal “Reset View” state and accessible status feedback explains that the pending reset was cancelled.

Rev61 — Reset View confirmation safeguard

Reset View now requires a deliberate second tap within a short confirmation window before saved Lineup Center preferences are erased. A single accidental tap changes the control to “Tap again to reset” and safely expires without changing the viewer.

Rev60 — Reset View

The Lineup Center now includes a one-tap Reset View control. It clears the remembered lineup type, Basic/Advanced selection, per-lineup zoom and focal positions, full-screen state, and hidden-control state, then returns the viewer to Shooter PvP, Basic 6, Fit, centered, with controls visible.

Rev59 — Persistent Lineup Center memory

The complete Lineup Center state now uses persistent browser storage, so the last lineup, Basic/Advanced selection, per-lineup zoom and focal position, full-screen state, and hidden-control state can survive a full browser close and reopen.

Rev58 — Restore the complete Lineup viewer setup

The Lineup Center now remembers whether full-screen mode was active and whether its controls were hidden. Returning to the page in the same browser tab/session restores that presentation together with the last lineup selection, Basic/Advanced choice, zoom level, and focal area. Normal page view remains the default unless full-screen was actually active when the visitor left.

Rev57 — Return to the last lineup automatically

The Lineup Center now remembers the last lineup type and whether Basic 6 or Advanced 6 was selected. Returning to the page in the same browser tab/session reopens that exact lineup selection, while Rev56 continues to restore that lineup's saved zoom level and focal area.

Rev56 — Remember each lineup's view independently

Each of the six lineup types now remembers its own last-viewed full-screen zoom level and normalized focal area. Returning to Shooter, Carrier, or Guardian PvP/PvE restores that lineup's previous view, while Basic 6 and Advanced 6 share the same memory for the corresponding lineup. View memory is retained for the current browser tab/session.

Rev55 — Preserve view between Basic 6 and Advanced 6

Switching Basic 6 / Advanced 6 for the same lineup now carries the current full-screen zoom level and normalized focal area into the corresponding chart. The destination remains edge-clamped so view continuity is preserved even when the two chart images have slightly different geometry.

Rev54 — Preserve view across adjacent lineup charts

Previous/Next, keyboard arrows, and swipe navigation now carry the current full-screen zoom level and normalized focal area into the adjacent lineup chart. Different chart shapes are handled with edge clamping so the closest practical viewing area is preserved without empty-space drift.

Rev53 — Preserve focal position between Fit and zoom

Returning to Fit now remembers the area the user was examining, and toolbar zoom restores that same focal area instead of jumping back to the chart center.

Rev52 — Preserve focal position when controls hide/show

Full-screen control visibility changes now preserve the user's current zoom and chart focal point. Tapping the chart to hide or restore the controls no longer subtly shifts the viewed area.

Rev51 — Preserve focal position on resize

Rotation, Split View, and Stage Manager resizing now keep the user's current zoom and chart focal point instead of returning to the default center. Resize bursts remain consolidated, and active gestures still defer the update until the fingers leave the chart.

Rev50 — Consolidated viewport settling

Rapid Stage Manager, Split View, orientation, and visual-viewport resize events are now consolidated into one final recenter after the viewport becomes stable. Active gestures still defer the update until the fingers leave the chart.

Rev49 — Live gesture-profile updates

Orientation changes and iPad Split View or Stage Manager resizing now refresh the phone/tablet gesture timing profile immediately after the layout changes. If a pinch or pan is already active, the new profile waits until that gesture finishes so timing never changes underneath the user's fingers.

Rev48 — Split View & Stage Manager gesture timing

Tablet gesture timing now identifies iPad-class devices from touch and physical screen characteristics instead of relying only on the current browser-window width. Split View and Stage Manager therefore keep tablet-appropriate two-finger recognition even when the website is displayed in a narrow window.

Rev47 — Adaptive iPhone/iPad pinch timing

Fast two-finger recognition keeps a shorter response window on iPhone while allowing slightly more time on iPad and tablet-sized screens, so pinch gestures feel immediate without delaying genuine one-finger panning.

Rev46 — Fast two-finger gesture recognition

A short provisional touch window now lets a quick second finger promote directly into pinch zoom before one-finger panning becomes visible. Genuine single-finger drags still activate promptly once movement clearly indicates pan intent.

Rev45 — Seamless pan-to-pinch handoff

Adding a second finger during one-finger panning now preserves the exact current chart position and begins pinch zoom without snapping backward.

Rev44 — Seamless pinch-to-pan handoff

When one finger remains after a two-finger pinch, that finger immediately continues panning from the current chart position before zoom settling occurs.

Rev43 — Velocity-aware pinch reversal

Pinch reversal sensitivity now adapts to gesture speed: quick decisive direction changes take over sooner, while slow tentative reversals require more evidence and small oscillations remain filtered.

Rev41 — Pinch direction memory

The lineup viewer now preserves strong earlier pinch direction through a nearly stationary release. Direction is based on accumulated gesture evidence, so a few tiny end movements cannot erase a deliberate zoom-in or zoom-out motion; a true reversal must build enough movement to take over.

Lineups

Rev40 — Pinch direction jitter guard

Release direction changes only after a clearly intentional pinch movement. Tiny finger-spacing or scale changes near release are ignored, preventing last-moment jitter from nudging the chart to the wrong zoom step.

Lineups

Rev39 — Direction-aware pinch settling

Pinch-release settling now remembers the user’s latest meaningful zoom direction. When the chart is close enough to the next practical zoom step, a continuing zoom-in gesture favors the higher step and a zoom-out gesture favors the lower step, while large unintended jumps are prevented.

Lineups

Rev38 — Adaptive pinch settle timing

Pinch-release settling now adapts to the size of the final correction. Small adjustments finish quickly, while larger zoom changes use a slightly longer, gentler ease so the chart settles without feeling abrupt.

Lineups

Rev37 — Pinch release zoom settling

When a two-finger pinch ends, the lineup chart now eases to the nearest practical zoom step — 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, or 200% — while preserving the viewed area around the center of the screen. This gives each gesture a clean finish without an abrupt snap.

Lineups

Rev35 — Smoother pinch direction changes

Pinch-to-zoom now updates from the most recent finger spacing on every frame instead of referencing only the gesture start. Reversing direction mid-pinch feels smoother and avoids sudden scale jumps while preserving the focal point under your fingers.

Lineups

Rev34 — Two-finger pinch zoom

The full-screen lineup viewer now supports natural two-finger pinch zoom on iPhone and iPad. The chart remains anchored beneath the fingers while scaling between Fit and 200%, then returns to direct drag panning when the gesture ends.

Lineups

Rev33 — Smoother zoomed-chart panning

Zoomed lineup charts now use direct pointer-tracked dragging with animation-frame updates, immediate edge clamping, and no extra momentum drift for a more controlled feel on iPhone and iPad.

Lineups

Rev32 — Edge-bounded zoom panning

Zoomed lineup charts now hard-stop at their actual scroll limits, so drag or momentum scrolling cannot leave the image drifting into empty space.

Lineups

Rev31 — Precise double-tap centering

Double-tap zoom now anchors to the exact point tapped on the chart and centers that location more accurately after zooming.

Lineups

Rev30 — Double-tap chart zoom

In full-screen lineup view, double tap the chart to zoom to 150% around the tapped area. Double tap again to return to Fit. Single tap still hides or restores the controls.

Lineups

Rev29 — Aspect-ratio-aware Fit positioning

The lineup viewer now adapts Fit placement to each chart shape. Extra-tall charts start nearer the top in portrait for easier reading, while standard and landscape views remain centered. Fit still preserves the original image proportions.

Lineups

Rev28 — Maximum aspect-ratio-safe chart fit

Full-screen lineup charts now calculate their fitted size from both the available width and height, maximizing screen use without stretching or squashing the original chart image.

Lineups

Rev27 — Rotation-aware lineup recentering

When a full-screen lineup is rotated between portrait and landscape, the chart now returns to Fit and recenters after the new viewport settles, preventing off-center or cropped views.

Lineups

Rev26 — Tap-to-hide lineup controls

In full-screen lineup view, tapping the chart now hides the title, zoom toolbar, and pager for an almost unobstructed image. Tap the chart again to bring the controls back.

Lineups

Rev25 — Compact full-screen lineup controls

Full-screen chart controls now share a single compact toolbar, use shorter readable labels, and leave more room for the lineup image in both portrait and landscape.

Lineups

Rev24 — Landscape lineup viewer optimized

Landscape full-screen mode compresses the title and controls while dedicating nearly all remaining horizontal space to the lineup chart.

Lineups

Rev23 — Full-screen mobile lineup viewer

Lineup charts can now open in a dedicated phone/tablet viewing mode with nearly all screen space reserved for the chart, while keeping zoom and paging controls available.

Lineups

Rev22 — Larger lineup chart canvas

Reduced surrounding chrome and expanded the lineup chart workspace on mobile and desktop.

Lineups

Rev21 — Mobile lineup chart zoom

Added Fit, zoom out, and zoom in controls with pan support for enlarged charts.

EVIDENCE STATUS

What is still incomplete?

S2 skill profiles remain intentionally unpublished until their screenshot intake is completed. Cyphomyrmex Rimosus and Emerald Jewel Ant also remain evidence-limited. Missing information is shown as pending rather than filled with assumptions.

Rev100: A new pan or pinch immediately after rotation cancels any pending or resumed settle animation so the fresh gesture fully owns the chart state.

Rev99: Rotation or resizing during pinch-release settling now pauses the snap, preserves the exact focal point, and resumes the same target zoom after the viewport finishes settling.

Rev92: Portrait iPad and Split View now fit extra-tall and wider lineup charts differently: tall charts prioritize every available pixel of height and start cleanly at the top, while wider charts prioritize available width and remain centered, always preserving the original aspect ratio.

Rev91: Full-screen portrait iPad and Split View now devote more of the available height to the chart, trim nonessential chrome, and reduce the fit edge gap while preserving the chart's original aspect ratio.

Rev90: Full-screen portrait iPad and narrow portrait Split View now place the title/counter and chart controls on balanced dedicated rows, preserving readable chart context while keeping controls compact during portrait resizing.

Rev89: The full-screen title/counter area and chart toolbar now share the top row with responsive proportions that rebalance smoothly during rotation, iPad Split View, and Stage Manager resizing without crowding either side.

Rev88: The full-screen chart title and page counter now stay readable on the narrowest landscape layouts, using tighter spacing, controlled title truncation, and an extra-compact counter when needed without competing with the toolbar.

Rev87: Previous / Next navigation is now compact and evenly balanced on the narrowest landscape phone layouts, with short visible labels, a compact page counter, and preserved 44px touch targets.

Rev86: Narrowest iPhone landscape widths now keep Zoom, Fit, Full, Reset, and the confirmation cue evenly balanced while preserving 44px touch targets.

Rev85: Extremely tight landscape toolbars now shorten Full screen and Reset View labels gracefully while preserving full accessible names.

Rev84: Compact landscape chart controls now share space evenly while preserving 44px touch targets.

Rev83: Landscape phones and compact iPad Split View now use a tighter Reset confirmation cue beside chart controls.

Rev82: Small-phone Reset confirmation cue is clearer without using additional vertical space.

Rev81: Reset View now shows a subtle visible confirmation progress cue during the second-tap window.

Rev80: Reset-confirmation timeout feedback now explicitly states that all saved Lineup Center preferences were preserved.

Rev79: Reset-cancellation live feedback now confirms the full pending Lineup Center reset was cancelled and all saved viewing preferences were kept.

Prototype Rev104

Lineup-type changes now override deferred rotation/resize state. Selecting a different lineup immediately after rotation or resizing cancels stale pinch-settle and viewport-restoration work before the outgoing view is captured and the new chart is rendered, so direct navigation always wins.

Prototype Rev103

Basic/Advanced set switching now overrides deferred rotation/resize state. Switching chart sets immediately after rotation or resizing cancels older pinch-settle and viewport-restoration work before the matching chart view is carried across, so the new set remains in control.

Prototype Rev102

Double-tap zoom now overrides deferred rotation/resize state. A double tap immediately after rotation or window resizing cancels any older pinch-settle or viewport-restoration work before applying the new tapped focal point, so the viewer no longer snaps back after the direct zoom gesture.

Rev154 — Shooter S6-Only Middle Slot

The PTP Shooter PvE chart now has a complete S6-only test trio: Spotted Hunter S6 → Tiger Velvet S6 → Sickle Jaw S6. The project’s expanded PvE provisional chart records that exact formation as an S-rated Middle Replacement. The mixed-season Spotted Hunter S6 → Rainbow Chaser S5 → Sickle Jaw S6 specialist remains the stronger S+ reference, so Tiger Velvet is published as a Middle TEST candidate, not a locked Best-in-Slot winner.

Rev153 — Guardian PvE Controlled Benchmark

The S6 Guardian test trio Brute Ant S6 → Umber Knight S6 → Scarlet Jaw S6 is now compared directly with the established White Crystal S4 → Blue Velvet S5 → Giant Jaw S5 PvE S+ benchmark. The site records the S6 trio as more offense-dense by role profile, but does not declare a damage winner because no like-for-like repeated PvE damage dataset is currently verified. A controlled damage-test protocol is now published.

Rev152 — Brute Ant Front-Line Evidence

Guardian S6 PTP PvE now has a complete test trio: Brute Ant S6 → Umber Knight S6 → Scarlet Jaw S6. Brute Ant is promoted from evidence-intake status to Front TEST after official material confirmed Front Line placement and offensive counterattack / healing-to-damage mechanics. This remains a test formation, not a locked Best-in-Slot claim.
