PvP vs PvE

The same ant can perform very differently depending on what it is fighting. TAUKS keeps PvP and PvE evidence separate so a strong result in one mode is not automatically treated as proof for the other.

QUICK ANSWER

PvP tests your lineup against another player's formation. PvE tests it against game-controlled targets.

PvP

Player vs Player

Enemy positioning, control, healing, shields, range, stars, insects, troop development, and account buffs can all change the result. PvP is highly matchup-dependent.

PvE

Player vs Environment

Wild creatures, event targets, bosses, and other repeatable game-controlled enemies are useful for measuring damage, trigger frequency, and progression under more consistent conditions.

RULE

Do not mix the evidence

A high PvE damage score does not by itself prove an ant is the better PvP choice, and a defensive PvP ant may look unimpressive in a pure damage test.

LEARN MORE

What each mode is good for measuring.

PvPUse it to judge matchup performance, control, survivability, protection, disruption, formation synergy, and how the lineup performs against real opposing builds.
PvEUse it to compare repeatable damage output, skill-trigger frequency, troop damage, and development changes when the target and conditions stay similar.
Repeatable benchmark eventsSome event targets provide a standardized report that is especially useful for tracking one account over time. TAUKS can treat those reports as benchmark evidence while still labeling the combat context accurately.
Account strengthRaw damage cannot be compared fairly without considering stars, awakening, insects, troop tier, evolution, buffs, and other development differences.

PRACTICAL CHECK

Before using a battle report as evidence, record these.

  1. Was the fight PvP, PvE, or a repeatable event benchmark?
  2. Which three Special Ants were used, and in what Front / Middle / Back positions?
  3. What troop class and troop tier were used?
  4. What were Skills Used, Skill Damage, Troop Damage, and total result?
  5. Were insects, stars, awakening, troop attributes, or account buffs materially different?
