Awakening can materially change what a Special Ant contributes. TAUKS treats awakening as a separate development variable rather than assuming two ants with the same stars are equivalent.

Verified awakening effectFirst confirm what the awakening actually changes. TAUKS should not recommend investment from a season label or reputation alone.
Core-role improvementDoes the awakening improve damage, healing, shielding, control, debuffing, survivability, or another function the lineup actually needs?
Position and team fitAn awakening can look strong in isolation but still underperform if the ant is in the wrong position or paired with incompatible teammates.

Before awakening a Special Ant, ask these questions.

  1. Is the awakening effect verified from in-game evidence?
  2. Does it strengthen the ant's main role in your actual lineup?
  3. Is the ant developed enough in stars and skills for the awakening to matter now?
  4. Will the ant remain in your lineup long enough to justify the cost?
  5. Would the same resources create a larger improvement somewhere else?

TAUKS EVIDENCE RULE

Awakening claims stay evidence-gated.

When awakening information has not been captured or verified, the Ant Database should say Needs More Data rather than infer the effect. When verified, the awakening belongs in the ant's Verified Game Information section and can then inform TAUKS Analysis.
