TAUKS TRUST MODEL · FRESHNESS

Freshness & Status

Every important TAUKS page should tell players when it was last reviewed, what state the information is in, and whether the page is safe to rely on for current decisions.

STATUS LABELS

Four simple states keep old information from looking current.

VERIFIED

Verified

Reviewed against current evidence and suitable for normal use.

REVIEW

Under Review

Still useful, but new evidence or a game change may alter the conclusion.

UPDATE

Needs Update

Known to be incomplete, stale, or missing important current evidence.

ARCHIVE

Archived

Preserved for history or comparison, but not presented as current guidance.

PAGE FRESHNESS

Major decision pages should show three fields.

Last ReviewedThe date TAUKS last checked the page against available evidence.
StatusVerified, Under Review, Needs Update, or Archived.
VersionThe revision identifier that ties the page to the current website build and change history.

WHAT CHANGED

Update entries should explain impact, not just list edits.

  1. What changed?
  2. When was it reviewed?
  3. What evidence or source triggered the change?
  4. Who is affected?
  5. Does it change a lineup, investment, role, or strategy decision?
  6. What is the current status after the update?

TAUKS FRESHNESS RULE

Old guidance stays visible only when its age is clear.

If a page has not been reviewed recently enough for a fast-changing topic, TAUKS should mark it Under Review or Needs Update rather than leave an old recommendation looking fully current.

REVIEW CADENCE

Working cadence: every two weeks for major decision pages.

Fast-moving Season content, major lineup pages, and verified ant analysis should be revisited more often when substantive new game evidence appears. A scheduled review does not override new evidence that requires an earlier update.

GO DEEPER

Use freshness with the TAUKS evidence model.

EVIDENCE VS PAGE STATUS

Do not confuse freshness status with evidence confidence.

This page tracks whether published guidance is current: Verified, Under Review, Needs Update, or Archived. The Evidence Standard separately describes the strength of the evidence itself, including Player Tested and Needs More Data.
