TAUKS COMMUNITY · CONTRIBUTOR STANDARD
Contributor Guidelines
Player evidence can make TAUKS stronger, but every contribution should be traceable, reviewable, privacy-aware, and clearly separated from verified game information until it passes review.
WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE?
Any player can submit useful information.
A contributor does not need to be a staff member or expert. Useful submissions include clear screenshots, Wild Battle Reports, Combat Lineups, Special Ant skill screens, event mechanics, corrections, and repeatable test results.
ObservationWhat the game screen directly shows.
TestingWhat happened under stated conditions, preferably across repeated runs.
InterpretationWhat the contributor thinks the evidence means. This stays separate from the visible facts.
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT
Give enough context to make the evidence useful.
Identify the Hill/accountKeep ownership, stars, development, insects, lineups, and test results attached to the correct account.
Identify the test goalState whether the evidence is PvP, PvE, Wild Battle Report, Combat Lineup, event mechanics, or another purpose.
Keep the full set togetherIf several screenshots belong to one report, submit the complete sequence whenever possible.
Include relevant developmentStars, awakening, troop tier, insects, buffs, positions, or other variables should be visible or stated when they affect the result.
EVIDENCE QUALITY
TAUKS labels evidence before turning it into advice.
VERIFIEDVerified
Directly confirmed from reliable game information or sufficiently strong evidence.
TESTEDPlayer Tested
Repeatable player evidence with conditions documented well enough to compare.
REVIEWUnder Review
Promising evidence exists, but the conclusion still needs checking or replication.
DATANeeds More Data
The question cannot yet be answered reliably from the available evidence.
CONTROLLED TESTING
Change one important variable at a time.
- Record a baseline using the current lineup.
- Keep the account, target, troop count, insect, and other major conditions as stable as practical.
- Change one ant, position, or other test variable.
- Repeat enough runs to see whether the result is consistent rather than a single lucky outcome.
- Report both improvements and failures. Negative results are useful evidence too.

PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS
Share game evidence without exposing information that does not belong in the database.
Account separationDo not mix one Hill's roster or results with another Hill, even when the same player owns both.
Private informationCrop or redact personal information that is not needed to understand the game evidence.
Other playersKeep only the opponent/account details needed for the analysis and avoid unnecessary personal information.
Rights to shareSubmit screenshots, artwork, text, or other materials only when you have permission or another valid right to share them.
REVIEW FLOW
A submission does not directly change verified content.
1. SubmitPlayer provides evidence and context.
2. TriageTAUKS checks completeness, account identity, and what question the evidence addresses.
3. ReviewVisible facts are separated from interpretation and compared with existing evidence.
4. StatusThe item is marked Verified, Player Tested, Under Review, or Needs More Data.
5. PublishOnly reviewed conclusions are used to update advice, lineups, Schoolhouse content, or database notes.
CREDIT & CORRECTIONS
Useful contributors should be recognized, and corrections should remain welcome.
When practical and appropriate, TAUKS may credit a contributor by the name or handle they choose to provide. Contributors can also report an error later if new evidence changes an earlier conclusion. Credit does not make a claim automatically verified.
